Much like their namesake, Pyrex is about as durable as it gets. They’ve been falling down a flight of stairs with consistent blasts of unnerving and chest tightening guitar shrieks for three years now. With Muscles the band has peeled back their skin to show you their raw exposed nerve endings, covered in blown out flanger and blood clot vocals over a tritone groove.
It resembles some kind of horrific monster you found in a Wipers record in a haunted magic shop that’s only goal is to share it’s misery with the rest of humanity at no costs, we’re lucky we contained it inside of 7 inches of plastic or things might have gotten out of hand.
