1984's Violence & Force is the middle record of Canadian thrash metal pioneers Exciter's first three classic albums sandwiched between Heavy Metal Maniac (1983) and Long Live the Loud (1985). Produced by Carl Canedy (Anthrax), it further established Exciter's Judas Priest meets punk rock sound with standouts tracks like the title cut and the anthemic "Swords of Darkness."
