Paintbox's "Earthball Sports Tournament" LP was the Tokyo band's second album, issued in 2000 on CD-only on the Legendary HG FACT label. Remarkable in that guitarist Chelsea, formerly of DEATHSIDE, completed the creative song writing for these 14 tracks so shortly after their debut album "Singing Shouting Crying". This is one of Paintbox's most aggressive hardcore records, but still featuring their masterful musicianship, catchy song writing, Vocalist Mune ( ex- SCREAMING HOG) intense growling vocals and underlinings of the expansive influences that would later propel their final album" Trip Trance & Travelling".
Prank re-issued this album in 2008 and it was literally in print a week or two before becoming a sought after collectors item, and we're proud to finally re-issue the album in a deluxe limited edition, pressed from the original metal work but re-plated and Pressed at RTI for better fidelity, with two color labels and an a heavy weight tip-on Gatefold sleeve. Includes a die cut paintbox sticker and insert.
